Information on the processing of personal data

This page describes the methods of managing the ViviMonferrato website with regard to the processing of personal data of users who consult it. This information is provided pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 'General Data Protection Regulation' ("GDPR") and the current Italian legislation for the protection of personal data of those who interact with the ViviMonferrato website starting from the address www.vivimonferrato.it and not for other external websites that may be linked to this one via links.

The processing of personal data means any operation or set of operations, carried out with or without the aid of automated processes and applied to personal data or sets of personal data, even if not recorded in a database, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, processing, selection, blocking, adaptation or alteration, extraction, consultation, use, communication by transmission, dissemination or any other form of making available, comparison or interconnection, restriction, erasure or destruction.

Purpose of processing

Following the consultation of this site, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed. The data freely and voluntarily provided by users is acquired and processed in compliance with the rules established by the Regulation for the following purposes:

•execution of its social purposes and the activities provided for by the association's statute, including archiving and analysis activities for statistical purposes;

•provision and execution of newsletter and blog services

•fulfillment of obligations required by laws, regulations, and EU legislation.

The ViviMonferrato newsletter is available, free of charge, to anyone who expressly requests it by subscribing freely. You can unsubscribe by sending a specific communication to segreteria@vivimonferrato.it.

Communication and dissemination of personal data

The processing is carried out by individuals specifically authorized by the Board of Directors of the association and able to protect and guarantee the confidentiality of the data provided, in the ways and within the limits necessary to pursue the aforementioned purposes. Such data are processed, in the role of Data Processor, by Carlo Piero Petrogalli, who carries out management and maintenance activities of the information systems on behalf of the ViviMonferrato association.

The provision of data is mandatory if it is necessary for the performance of the requested services; therefore, failure to provide such data will make it impossible to use the service itself.

The data provided will be used with IT and electronic tools solely for the purpose of providing the requested service and, for this reason, will be stored exclusively for the period in which the service is active.

Some processing operations may also be carried out by other third parties, to whom the association entrusts certain activities, or parts thereof, that are functional to the achievement of its social purposes. On these additional parties, designated as Data Processors, ViviMonferrato imposes appropriate obligations regarding the protection of personal data through operational instructions, with particular reference to the adoption of adequate technical and organizational measures, in order to guarantee the confidentiality and security of the data pursuant to art. 32 of the Regulation.

Transfer of personal data to countries outside the European Union

Personal data will not be transferred in any way to a non-European third country, nor communicated to third parties except in cases provided for by current legislation, nor subject to automated decision-making processes including profiling.

Types of data processed

Mere navigation of the site does not require the provision of personal data, except for those collected automatically and described below.

Browsing data

The computer systems and applications dedicated to the operation of the site collect, during navigation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. These data are not collected to identify users, but by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow them to be identified.

This category of data includes:

•the IP addresses (domain names of the computers used to connect to the site);

•the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources;

•the time of the request;

• the method used in submitting the request to the server;

•the size of the file obtained in response;

• the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server;

•other parameters related to the user's operating system and IT environment.

This data is retained for the minimum period required by current regulations. The data may be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

Rights of data subjects

ViviMonferrato does not use processing methods based on automated decision-making processes (art. 22). Data subjects may exercise, where applicable, the following rights provided for by current legislation:

access rights (art. 15),

of rectification (art. 16),

of erasure (art. 17),

of restriction (art. 18),

of notification (art. 19),

of portability (art. 20),

of objection (art. 21).

The Data Controller is Carlo Piero Petrogalli, Località piano 32/b, 15070 Lerma - AL, tel. 329-6955666. The contact details of the Data Protection Officer (DPO) are dpo@vivimonferrato.it.

In addition to the protections provided in administrative or judicial proceedings, it is also possible to file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority if you believe that the processing is taking place in violation of the aforementioned Regulation, following the procedures and instructions published on the official website of the Authority at www.garanteprivacy.it

Information on the use of Cookies

The website www.vivimonferrato.it uses the following types of cookies:

technical cookies: these are necessary to allow safe and efficient navigation of the sites; they are session or persistent cookies, generally first-party cookies, such as user preference cookies and tracking cookies. The use of technical cookies is carried out in such a way as to avoid the use of other IT techniques that could potentially compromise the confidentiality of users' browsing, as they do not allow the acquisition of personal data identifying the user.

analytics cookies [Google]: in order to collect information on the number of users and how they visit the site and to process general statistics on the service and its use, the site uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google. To analyze the points of greatest interest of the sites visited by the user, Google Analytics uses cookies for statistical purposes and collects information only in aggregate form, without associating the user's browsing IP address with any other data held by Google itself. Tools have been adopted that reduce the identifying power of cookies by masking significant portions of the IP. Furthermore, the appropriate Google Analytics settings have been activated so that Google does not cross-reference the data collected with other information it already holds. On the Google Analytics website, you can consult the privacy policy. The use of some of these services may involve the storage of data even in non-European countries, and in particular in the United States, whose data protection legislation does not "adequately" guarantee the rights of European data subjects.

third-party profiling cookies: on some pages linked to social networks and other multimedia applications, other third-party cookies may be set that are able to monitor the browser and create a profile of the visitor's interests. This could affect what is displayed while browsing other sites. These cookies could also involve the transfer of data to non-European countries, particularly the United States.

Browsing the www.vivimonferrato.it website implies acceptance of the terms of use, including cookie-related features that can be disabled using the specific options available in various types of browsers.

How to disable cookies (opt-out)

Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but it is possible to refuse them. If you do not wish to receive or store cookies, you can change your browser's security settings (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.). Each browser has different procedures for managing settings.

Normally, you need to access the "options/settings/advanced preferences" section of the browser and here go to a section titled "Privacy/Security/Data". Depending on the browser, you can block all cookies, choose to block only third-party cookies, or have cookies deleted when the browser is closed.

Social Media Policy

ViviMonferrato uses social media for institutional and general interest purposes to inform, communicate, and listen, as well as to encourage participation, discussion, and dialogue with members and users of the social media site.

Contents

Currently, ViviMonferrato informs readers about news published on the website, events, and initiatives also through the thematic Facebook page and the Instagram profile.

The Facebook page and Instagram profile are identified with the official name and logo.

The published content includes information and communications about the association's activities and initiatives, news, images, videos, and service communications.

Taking advantage of the typical opportunities of social media, ViviMonferrato can occasionally share and repost content and messages of public interest also created by other organizations, associations, individuals, or other sources. In these cases, it only checks the reliability of the source, but does not certify the content.

The presence of advertising spaces alongside the content published on the social network pages used by ViviMonferrato is not under the association's control, as it is managed independently by the social networks themselves.

Rules of use and netiquette

ViviMonferrato is committed to managing spaces for communication and dialogue within its various social profiles, asking its users to express their opinions with fairness and moderation and to respect the opinions of others in accordance with the basic rules of Netiquette commonly observed on the Web.

Moderation and interaction with users

The answers provided by the moderators of the Facebook page and Instagram profile do not have minimum or maximum response times and should be considered as general information.

For specific needs, it is possible to send direct messages, leaving your personal contact information (for example, your email, with an explicit request to be contacted back).

It is also reminded that, should the user publish personal data or information not related to the page, the moderators will proceed to delete the content, and in channels where this is not allowed, they will invite the user to do so. In any case, ViviMonferrato cannot be held responsible for any actions taken by third parties through the improper use of the data.
